Daxton Turned 7

On February 4th Daxton had his 7th birthday. I can't believe how old he is getting, but it is sure nice to have such a big helper. After school he had the choice to either go bowling with the family or play the new Mario Kart game on the Wii. For him it was a no brainer; so we let him invite his friend Sam over to play the Wii. They had such a great time. This was nice because I have been struggling to move around to much with this pregnancy. We enjoyed some pizza for dinner and grandparents came over for some cake and icecream later on. Then the boys played some more Mario Kart untill it was time for bed. Daxton thought that was the greatest day ever (I love how easy he is to please).

Engaged!!!

Okay, for those of you who haven't heard yet, Brian proposed to Sarah on Wednesday!  We are all so excited for both of them.  Sarah will be such a great addition to our family!  They are planning to get married in April.  I can't believe we will be adding another girl to our family that is over-run by the male gender. That will be two (counting our baby girl) within just a few weeks of each other.  Thanks Brian (it's about time!)

Grandpa "Horsey"

Getting together with Grandpa Steve always includes a horsey ride.  I don't think his energy ever runs out, and his grandkids know it!  They have so much fun with grandpa doing things like following him around with his tools and fighting over his tape measure, playing in the back of his truck, getting four-wheeler rides through his back yard, eating apples with him picked right from his trees, and making him give them horsey rides over and over and over!  We love you Grandpa Steve!
