These two are so funny.  They wanted me to take their picture over and over again.  Each time it was "let me see!"  " I want to see."  They would giggle at the image on the camera and want another one taken.  I loved how they were making the same face in this picture.

Elder Peterson

Wednesday was full of mixed emotions.  The date had arrived for Cameron to enter the MTC. We checked Dax out of school and picked up Dakota on the way.  They were excited to see all the missionaries and of course to sing "Called to Serve" with them.  Our whole family met there, even Grandpa Ray.  We are so excited for Cameron and the wonderful experiences he will be having for the next 2 years.  It was hard to say goodbye, but we couldn't be happier for him. He will be a great missionary.  Daxton and Dakota even teared up and needed to be comforted as we left the building.  We are so excited for him to write and to watch his testimony grow. The people of Mexico will love him and I know he will touch many lives as he shares the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dakota's 5th Birthday!

Dakota has been counting down to his fifth birthday for quite some time.  His birthday was yesterday, the 17th.  I can't believe it has already come and gone.  He is growing up so fast!  We had been up late on Friday night so we all slept in on Saturday morning.  While the boys all watched some morning cartoons, I cooked some pumpkin waffles with buttermilk syrup for breakfast (a new recipe I have been wanting to try).  They were so yummy!  Matt helped me make some cupcakes that we planned to have later on in the day.  

We headed off to the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point about 12:30.  I can't believe how fascinated all of the boys were with everything they saw.  Even the twins were so excited.  I enjoyed wandering through the museum and watching there reactions to everything we saw. 

They really enjoyed playing in the Erosion Table and getting their hands dirty.  

After touring the museum, they each made their own fossil in the the Lab.  They were pretty proud.

We picked up some pizza on the way home to have for lunch.  We then sang happy birthday, had cupcakes and ice cream, and opened presents.  Grandpa and Grandma Dollar stopped by with Ashley and Tyler as well as Grandpa Steve, Grandma Val and Great-Grandpa Ray.  Dakota was excited to have them all there.

It was Stake Conference, so Matt headed off to his priesthood meetings at 4:00.  Grandpa and Grandma Dollar came back about 6:00 to take the boys to McDonalds while Matt and I headed off to the Adult Session.  I'm glad someone else was willing to take them there because I always refuse.  They had such a fun time.  

Snow, Snow, and More Snow

I can't believe how much snow we keep on getting.  I was glad to see it let up yesterday.  I think it snowed nonstop for two days!  Although, I do think it is beautiful and the boys have been so excited to go play it it.  If I didn't have this big belly, I think I would join them.  Poor Matt had to shovel the driveway in the dark after the boys had went to bed.  It sure made some big piles that that the boys thought were so great!  

As you can see the snow was piled over Bradin and Austin's heads!

I sent the boys out back so I could get some peace and quiet.  They decided to make snowmen and we had to get creative with the potato eyes and the candy-cane mouths.  I think they turned out quite cute. 

Future Missionaries

I am so excited! I finally found a cord to pull my home videos off my video camera onto my Mac!  I thought this clip was to cute I just had to share it.  My boys sing this song everywhere and anywhere; it is so fun to listen to them.
